TeleMed Today

Privacy Policy

Last updated September 2, 2026

TeleMed Today is an independent educational publication. We do not sell products, run user accounts, or require registration, and we collect as little information as a website reasonably can. This page explains what we do collect and why.

What we collect

Analytics. We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless measurement tool. It reports aggregate information such as page views, referrers, country, and browser type. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not build individual visitor profiles.

Contact form. If you use the contact widget, the message and email address you provide are transmitted through Web3Forms, a form-processing service, which delivers them to our editorial inbox. We use that information only to respond to you.

Email. If you email us directly, we keep the correspondence for as long as it is useful for responding and for our records, and we do not add you to any marketing list.

Newsletter. If you sign up for The Update, the email address you provide is transmitted through Web3Forms and delivered to our editorial inbox, where we keep the list ourselves. We use it only to send occasional notes about meaningful changes in telehealth rules. We never sell or share the list, and you can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email or contacting us.

Third-party processors

The services above — Cloudflare (hosting, security, and analytics), Ahrefs (analytics), and Web3Forms (contact form and newsletter signup delivery) — process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies. We do not share, sell, or rent personal information to anyone else.

Cookies

TeleMed Today does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics providers operate without cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security purposes when protecting the site from abuse.

Retention

Aggregate analytics are retained by the analytics providers under their standard terms. Contact-form messages and email are kept only as long as needed for correspondence and record-keeping, after which they may be deleted.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including California under the CCPA and the European Union under the GDPR — you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Because we hold almost none, requests are usually simple: email us and we will confirm what, if anything, we have and act on your request.
